My tuppence, if you want carbonation, bottle rather than keg. I've done the smugglers before and it's a great kit (though I wouldn't spray malt it again.) mine cleared ok, but I've had others that looked like mud for a good 10 weeks, then suddenly cleared. You have several options, enjoy it cloudy, wait a good few weeks and let it fix itself, or keep fiddling and introducing opportunities for things to go wrong.
My advice would be to stay patient and leave well alone. It'll turn out plenty drinkable even if it doesn't look perfect.
Help with a stuck brew please
Re: Help with a stuck brew please
Thanks houblon
My quest for perfection is down to the beer being for a party (wanting to impress). But you are of course right. I'll leave it alone and serve it cloudy if need be (as I say it tastes great). Could'nt drink it completely flat thou, so will check on the carbonation later.
Never had the space to be able to bottle - started collecting them and they damn near took over the place. I do have an empty FV... maybe try an APA and put it in PET while I empty some glass ones. Might even be time for it to condition enough for the party!!!
Cheers
