Just picked this kit up in the latest Wilko sale.
I dry hopped with Citra. I have to say that it is simply superb. It tastes like a lot of these craft Summer Lagers that companies are brewing, and tasted identical to a Camden Town 'Summer Lager Hybrid', and a Shoreditch Craft Ale. Both of which cost me a combined £11 in a pub in London, but less than 30 pence for me to brew!

I would def do again, and am tempted to pick up another of these kits. From what I read, it does benefit from a hop addition though.

As WA would say, 'It's bloody lovely Mun', or something of that nature.

Thanks Manngold. I've got plenty of hops in stock for this one. Had a few Brew Dog IPAs and Goose Islands last week. Loving the hoppy beers at the moment!

Great thread.

Is this stuff any good done to instructions??

Or should I chuck the Amarillo in my cupboard in?

I say chuck it in Sk. Most revies for it seemed to be rather lackluster to say the least, but mine tastes great with hops. Friends and family all love it.

Hello SK,
I think you are already in the ELC, so YES, Throw in the Amarillo with Gusto (who the f3ck is Gusto)!
Blowing my own Trumpet here, look on `Beer Reviews` by Armchair, then go for it! :D :D
