My local wilkos had all of the above plus the Milestone kits at £16.95. I got a good selection and plan to split the kits and make up some extract/kit combo recipes.

hi guys. Been away a bit and not updated you on the current bargains to be had such as those mentioned above (wilko 2 can kits real ale ) cheaper then our normal woodefordes Wherry kit. Can you taste the difference? I could not when I did mine some time ago, get yourselves down whilst the reductions are on ..... Today I went and bought.. 2 can bitter kit just in the FV now TRYING to cool down to add the yeast...... Added 500g of beer enhancer plus 285 g of Aldi honey as had tried that in the hoppy copper bitter I did a while ago and it's lovely you can just get that slight honey aftertaste, also bought nutrient ,co2 bulbs, put wilko gervin yeast and some more Geordie beer enhancer. Most things were 25%off. :)

Don't worry, I'm not using all 5 bags of medium DME with the English Bitter!

I needed some for a Bock kit that ive got planned and the EB will form the base for my Xmas Ale.

I feel like I've actually saved some money, as I actually wanted these bits ;-)

Who hoo! Just been to Wilkos! Got a wherry, a coopers international English bitter, and a Wilkos 2 can golden ale kit! Now what to brew and in what order? Any suggestions? My first brew in 20 years you know! Trepidation and prevarication!
Also any tips on brewing these and getting the best out of them?
