Greene King IPA/Golden IPA

Couldn't resist a couple of bottles of each at just a quid in Sainsboid's tonight. My excuse is a partial solution to my bottle crisis (clear bottles though) but having never tried the golden one and not having had the ordinary in ten years fancied a drop. If you're short on the old homebrew might be worth swinging by.

EB,
Clear bottles are great! They let you see your Beer becoming beautifully clear and ready to drink! :D Plus great visual control over the sediment!
No chance of Light Strike because it doesn`t hang around long enough. And they are in 2 Beer Fridges anyway!
Took a clear bottle of my ESB out of the BeerFridge 6hrs ago, Chill Haze all over it. Murky as Hell! At room temp now, absolutely clear Beer!
Put in the Fridge for 1.5 to 2 hrs then ready to drink.
I bought a few of those Greene King Beers last week, Bloody Lovely Mun!

I've never suffered from light strike and about half of my bottles are clear. Just letting people know they're clear as established wisdom says don't use clear. I have and do...beggars cannot be choosers!

Store them in a dark cupboard with a sleeping bag or spare duvet around them. Keeps them dark and at a constant temperature. Alternately, put them in a large cardboard box. Whatever you do, don't leave your clear glass bottles on the window sill or in the conservatory.
