what are the best kits from wilkos?

Post by Wekslap » Tue Sep 02, 2014 4:43 pm

Hi all. Thinking of stocking up before sale ends. I was wondering what are the most popular kits on here that Wilkos sell including their own brand? Any tried and tested nice ones?

I'd go with the Coopers Stout ans Coopers English Bitter both really good reliable kits and can be improved even mor by some tweaking with hops etc.

I was wondering that! That's why I'm stocking up with hopefully enough to keep me going until their next sale. How often do they tend to have these sales does anyone know? I asked in shop when sale ends and they said they don't know. Only that they dont get told themselves till night time when stocking shelves and that can happen any time and that sales usually last a month. PS what's best way of getting labels off newcy brown bottles?

The sales seem to come round pretty frequently. Maybe twice a year?

Stocked up on some bottle caps while I was in there today. At 75p for 50 I can't find 'em cheaper anywhere else. Shame they only had 2 packs in.

I was in wilkos today and they had some new lines in, not cheap though, they had tins of liquid malt extract at £12.99, carb drops at £4.00 and worryingly what looked like their own brand pet bottles, but I sneaked a look in the box and they were coopers, for the outrageous price of £10 for 12! The carb drops were probably rebated coopers ones too.
