What's the best type of tap to buy to fit to a fv?

Post by Wekslap » Thu Sep 04, 2014 4:38 pm

What's the best type of tap to buy to fit to a fv without one? Ideally one which will fit one of these easy bottling gizmos? And ideally any tips on how to securely fit one. Thanks

A simple lever tap works well with them, just make sure it's food grade, most LHBS stock them or of course add on your next online ingredients order.

:( Wish ye were nearer, mate. I'd ever so gladly bung ye the couple of tapped FV's I have taking up space here. I hate them and have no use for them what so ever.

Bloody marvellous, isn't it?

Do you need a tap fitted before you fit the little bottler or is the tap included?

You get the lot, the bottling wand is only attached when needed.
