....when you do a kit mod with a hop boil and spray malt? I know the kits will probably have had something like it already...just curious, would it do any harm?

I've got one or two tablets and I have used them very occasionally in the instances you mention and when boiling liquor that's had grain steeping in it. I'm not sure if it's strictly necessary, but I've seen Craigtube use them in some of his videos and I thought it might help to prevent protein haze. It hasn't seemed to do any harm which is the main thing.

only use a fraction of a tablet, i use 1/4 to 1/3 in a 5 gallon brew.. its very effective.
ist update for months n months..
Fermnting: not a lot..
Conditioning: nowt
Maturing: Challenger smash, and a kit lager
Drinking: dry one minikeg left in the store
Coming Soon Lots planned for the near future nowt for the immediate :(

I bought some but never used them. :( with grain steep and or hop boil.

When I worked in a local brewery earlier this year, the head brewer got us to add only 2 full tablets to our 2bbl (327L) brew.
