Hey, in a moment of madness I thought I might try to make a peanut butter stout or porter (ELC!?).
I was thinking of having a coopers stout or wilko's stout base. 1 - 1.5kg of dark spray malt.
Not sure on how to add the peanut butter though. Do I boil with some wart at the start? How much would I use, etc.
Anyone have anything suggestions?
Thanks

Rather than peanut butter, why not get some unsalted dry roasted peanuts, grind them up into a powder and throw them into the boil with your spray malt. As for how much to use..... that depends on how pronounced you want the peanuts to be. I would not go any more than 125g.Manngold wrote:Hey, in a moment of madness I thought I might try to make a peanut butter stout or porter (ELC!?).
