Drinkable yes, at it's best no.

My 10L (1.084) Coopers Stout really came into it's own between 12-18 months old. I have still got 1 bottle left that is currently 2 1/2 Years old now, so I will have to sample it at some point soon.

Definitely bottle in 284ml or 330ml glass and not 568ml like I did!

Fermentation has calmed down somewhat so I drew a sample. It's now at 1014, So 9.8%

Big alcohol taste to the sample, the other flavour is marmite. Not as in it is love or hate, as in it actually tastes of marmite

Hello All,
I`m making this on Tuesday. I ordered 2 Coopers Stouts this morning from Tosco Click and Collect for £16! :D
It would be rude not to!
And I might/will/might/will/might put some Hops in. #-o

2 for £16, liking your style WA

I can't help thinking that hops would get lost in this brew.

Just had an early pint of my 10.1% concoction. Lovely full bodied stout. Can't taste the alcohol but feel decidedly fuzzy
