dry hopping

Post by D4nny74 » Tue Dec 02, 2014 10:35 pm

Hi All

still learning lots but wish to do some research on hops and dry hopping, can’t find any information on the different type of hops and aromas , I plan on either doing a pale ale or blonde lager after the new yr, any suggestions on hops to use and where to buy ?

Regards

Danny

Go for anything American if you like citrus and tropical fruit notes. British hops usually give an earthy, floral aroma. Any brewshop either online or local, will give the characteristics on the package so you can choose whatever you like and of course what you want to experiment. For lagers, go for German hops.

I'm about to dry hop a black double IPA with citra simcoe and ahtanum!
