I think the general opinion is skip the kits and make Turbo Cider (TC) instead! That's certainly what I'm going to do (at the SWIMBO's bequest :) )

Have a look in the Other Brews section...
Next Up : Something for the summer
Primary : Nothing
Secondary / Conditioning : Nothing
Drinking : Mosaic IPA

I agree..I have made loads of TC and its all been good.In fact I have made 3 gallons today ,2 with honey 1 without.I don't drink too much cider but it tastes good to me and the missus,who drinks cider regular says it compares to commercial stuff.
