Ok started at 1035 and its now 1020 (2 days later)
what does that mean?

also, tasted a quick drip of the brew and was suprised at how nice it is.
No TCP flavours.

It means it's fermenting, hopefully it will get to 1006 or lower.

When that barrels full it'll weigh 23 kilos or thereabout, don't think that little wooden shelf will hold it. Glad your enjoying youre new hobby though, it's given me endless pleasure over the last 40 years or so.

That was one of my concerns, but it seems ok fine. Should have seen me try and lift it though!

Hydro reading now 1012 (am I reading it right?). Things seem to be brewing well.
Nice colour and still smells great!!!

I think it may have stopped at 1010 or almost 1008.
Do you think I should wait a bit longer this is the 8th day of fermentation.
Still smells realy good but there are no bubbles at all any more.
Not sure if I should give it a slight mix.

Tasted the tester sample and it is rather nice, heres the colour of the brew.

Had a fixed reading for a few days now of 1009 so I decided to get the brew bottled.
Looks good.
