Update on the Fixby Gold

Post by jaycee » Sun Jan 07, 2007 2:07 pm

Just an update on my problems with the fixby Gold
I left a few days and the gravity still stuck at 10.020 ( I think it's probably been stable at 10.020 for about 3-4 days now)
So i gave it a nice gentle rouse for a minute or so and dropped in the brew Heater.
Now i have a constant 21 c and very small head back on top of the fermenter, once opened there is a good smell of Co2.
Does this sound O.K ?
Thanks in Advance

Should be ok.Only way to be sure is to check the gravity after a few days.
Hope its ok for you!

My Fixby has been kegged since December 26th. Tasted it.

Wonderful head, almost creamy. Lovely hoppy taste and gorgeous aftertaste.

I'm well impressed. I recommend this kit. Easy to make and tastes amazing.

Cool.

Got some homebrew interest from a colleague at work - was going to suggest he kick off with the Fixby.
Dan!
