it's hard to say for sure, the only problem you might run into is the sugar in the essence fermenting out along with the priming sugar. this might affect the sweetness of the chocolate flavour and result in a more bitter flavour. give it a go though.

Just put a shot of Tia Maria into a pint of stout and voila.......instant choccy stout.
