The only area were commercial beer is better is from a fitness point of view,if i want a beer i wander into kitchen grab a beer, wander back to living room and consume,a total journey of 30 foot .if however i want a commercial brew its a case off going down 3 floors (no lift|) and walking 10 minutes plus to the nearest purveyor of ale, then a 10 minute (uphill) walk back and a climb up 3 flights of stairs whilst carrying a bag full of beer.
