I've bottled up my Geordie Bitter. 39 bottles. Happy with that.
Cheeky sip as it came down the siphon. Tasted surprisingly good. Batch primed with 80g of table sugar.
I'm now a little short on the bottle front; I have literally 10 beer bottles that don't have anything in them. A very productive first two thirds of the year!
With the weather as warm as it is, and the fact I have a bottle shortage, and that I'm meant to be starting a diet (Atkins. Ugh. No beer!) perhaps it's time for a hiatus until (1) some bottles are freed up (2) I'm off my diet and (3) the weather's a bit cooler.
I've started to notice I'm going off commercial bottled beers. Had a few bottles of Thwaites' Wainwright earlier in the week - tasted really watery and fizzy. I still don't think you can beat hand pulled cask ale, but for bottled stuff, I actually prefer my own.
If there's a bottle swap on at Morley Home Brew next time I'm up north I'll definitely be taking part; it will be great to see what others are making to give me something to shoot for to up my game!

Like someone has thrown an ashtray in it. Ive been speaking to chris about it.
