I've started a John Bull Masterclass Victorian beer kit last week.It all seems to be going OK and the gravity is now at 1012 after 6 days.Anyone know what it should be getting to? The instructions on the label are pretty thin, only saying its finished when the reading is static for 2 consecutive days.

I did the porter and it finished at 1014 so that sounds pretty good.

When the hydrometer reading has been stable for 2-3 days then bottle or keg it.

I have this kit to do next so let us know how it tastes!

Thanks fellas.Sorry for the delay in replying.Things are a bit hectic at the moment. What with brewing beer, building an extension, getting married next month and trying to do a bit of work. The gravity looks like it is on schedule, thanks for the advise.I'll certainly let you know how it turns out. This brew is for the 2 English contingent at the wedding,so I might not get much sense out of them.Cheers.
