Being stuck in the wilds of cornwall, not a homebrew shop in sight, I have to buy all my gear online. The links page provides some good shops. I have also managed to get some gear cheaply from ebay. Who do you recommend?

Leyland, and Hop and Grape are my favorites, I've also used the Hopshop, had good service from all three of them. People seem to be having issues with Easybrew so be warned (see threads)

Leyland Homebrew and The Hop Shop - great service, friendly and knowledgabe staff.

Avoid easybrew.

Have used Art of Brewing before too, nothing against them - just ignore their advice sheet on camden tablets.

Well, I say soon, all depends when that tight arsed cow (my OH) will let me of the leash.
I know my place.

BrewGenie, they always seem to have everything in stock, and prices are competitive.

Brewmart are good too.

We occassionaly use Hop & Grape as they have a fantastic range of grains and its not too far away. But we are now mainly doing kits as time is so short nowadays so have been using Brewgenie.com in Birmingham cause they are about the cheapest on the net. One day we must make the effort to go and see them.

Never had a problem with brewmart - reasonable delivery costs and quick turnaround.

Have used Brew-It-Yourself once and found them to be incredibly slow a very poor customer service dept', rude staff and zero comunications on order progress. Would NOT recommend.
On the other hand; Hop and Grape are just the opposite - excellent, I have placed many orders with them without a hitch.
Good luck.

Welcome to the zoo. Cool name by the way.
I've used brewityourself, got my chocolate stout and some other bits n pieces from them. Very good, minimal fuss, ordered online so no stock out issues, quick delivery. Going to give Brewmart a try next.
