Dry kit question

I picked up a Brupack premium beer pack the other day it comes with Bags of Grains and 3x bags of hop pellets, then the mother of all bags of Spraymalt, I noticed that the sticky here has almost the same thing but Chris The Fish used a LME where as ive gone for another bag of spraymalt and some flavour enhancer hops.
Question is would it have been better to have gone for a tin of LME or is it going to be good enough with the 1kg extra bag of spraymalt and added hops ?

I take it you're wanting to add extra spraymalt in place of the sugar recommended by the kit instructions?

If so, spraymalt will be fine - it will certainly be better than using sugar.

Thanks Jim. And yes I was either going to get a tin of liquid malt but had already got an extra bag of drymalt and extra enhancer hops to bung in.

I think I will be brewing this one next week as my fermenter is a little tied up with my IPA at the moment...

Do you mean a Brupaks Brewers Choice kit?

If so I've brewed several of these and reckon there one of the best kits available. Clive of Brupaks (who formulates the kits) recomended that I use dry spray malt to get the best from the kit! I followed his advice and wasn't disapointed .

Yes Russ that's the one and with your answer im sticking with the spray malt I am hoping to get this one started on Friday as im waiting for the IPA to finish in the fermenter

Trip to Leyland again tomorrow for 3 more kegs and a few more kits so i can get a supply of beer going and give it a decent time to mature properly rather than being over eager and drinking it while its still cloudy SWMBO says im a little windy while I am asleep now I wonder why that is.

Planning on getting another one of the Brupaks Brewers Choice kit a christmas porter style one and Brewers Choice Bavarian Weissbier ( not sure about this one though )
