Muntons Gold Continental Pilsner

Started this kit a fortnight ago, current gravity is 1014 but I'm still getting approx. 1 bubble a minute from the airlock. Should I just leave it a bit longer? It'll be going straight into a cornie for some forced carbonation when done.

It is probably trapped co2 coming out of solution rather than still fermenting. If you have a steady gravity reading over 2 days then its likely to be finished. You could try giving the yeast a gentle rouse with a sanitised paddle(try not to splash the beer though) to see if it will drop a few more points.
At 1.014 though I would just keg it and force carb.

Ok thanks, I'll give it another day to be sure and just keg it regardless then.

As a matter of interest.... what was your starting SG????
I'm doing the same kit now and followed the intructions to the letter, but only got 1036 SG....

Just for your information - mine started at 1045 when I brewed it a couple of months back.

I've just rechecked my notes and in fact mine did start at 1048. It has reached 1012 now after 15 days fermenting in a 21c kitchen and is still fermenting very gently but I can wait no more, it's off in the cornie later today! Tasted fantastic from the sample jar, can only be better when I've carbonated it. :)

I bottled mine today.... been 8 days in the FV.... still a few gentle bubbles rising, but I took the risk. The last Lager was pan flat, so I'm hoping for more life in this one.

Finished at about 1008.

We'll see what happens.
