Nelson's Revenge

Post by JabbA » Thu Sep 11, 2008 9:38 am

I've had this kit going for a week now and couple of days ago I took a reading of 1012 (OG 1044) and had a wee sip. Very nice is was too, but it was a little too bitter, would the priming sugars (I was planning on using 100g of brewers sugar in the 23l of brew) sweeten it up a bit in the bottle, or should I add some non-fermentables, if so any suggestions?

Many Thanks,
Jamie

Bitterness from the hops reduces as the beer matures. Give it a chance and it'll be fine.

Cheers, Jim!

Hopefully some new toys from Hop and Grape will be delivered today, then that lovely job of cleaning and sanitising bottles awaits in the morning!
