Bottling??

Hello All :)

I'm new to all this home brewing when its done i am going to put it in to bottles but whats the best way to do this??

Also whats better plastic or glass bottles? :?

Just another one for you the room that its going to be fermenting in is around 20-22c is this ok for lager and cider kits???

and whats the best method for bottling putting half a teaspoon of sugar in to the bottle or use priming solution if so how much ???

20 - 22C is fine, though a little cooler would be even better for lager (and ales).

Plastic and glass are both OK, though if using glass make sure the bottles are strong enough - bottles used for bottle-conditioned commercial beers are the best, obviously, but most beer bottles are OK. If the bottles are clear or green, keep them out of the light to avoid skunking.

There have been discussions on here regarding plastic bottles being slightly permeable and therefore not suitable for long-term storage.
