what make are the leffe (brown & normal) clones?????? & where is the best place to get from ie. cheapest with postage. thanks

They aren't leffe clones, but the nearest kit beers you will find are brewferm one can kits.

Try the abbey for a dark beer, grand cru for a light.


Other than that a number of makers do euro beers

try:

Coopers European larger

Brupaks do a beers of the world range and have bavarian pils, bavarian wheat beer, trappist dubbel and trappist triple, dusseldorf alt and on and on and on and....

As for suppliers it can be a bit of a minefield out there.

Personally I recommend Hop and Grape

reliable, well priced, quick delivery and they have all the kits I mentioned above.

whichever supplier you choose to use do a search of their name on the forum first to get member feedback cos there are some sharks out in them there homebrew waters :wink:

Hi,

I'm just drinking a Muntons continental pilsner kit, and can definatley detect a certain flavour found in leffe... it might be one you want to give a try.
