hiya all

my first brew of cider and it tastes vinegary does that mean its f**ked :x

If it's definitely vinegar, and not just very sour/dry, then it's not good news.

Usually a result of an infection, probably from those damn little flies... :x

I'd be tempted to leave it for a while, you haven't anything to lose, cider can give off some minging smells while fermenting, most usually egg-sulphur.

humm i mite empty the PET bottles and leave the glass ones i got 40 pint of lager and 32 pint of cider to do on the week end
