Muntons Beer Enhancer - any good?

Works out at about 10p / pint extra I think

What is it? Is it worth the money? Is there a cheaper way to get the same effect?

beer enhancer is 50% light spray malt and 50% dextrose, the dextrose is a type of sugar suited to brewing which will add alcohol, and the spraymalt adds a bit more alcohol, body and mouthfeel, and head retention. I always found it a bit expensive, as is spraymalt on it's own.
