Hi Cougar and welcome to the forum, i did a Brupaks Almondbury Old recently and can recommend this kit if your looking for a darker ale
Re: pls Recomend a kit-Newbie.
What about something like coppers dark ale (Rich Mahogany colour and a creamy head. Roasted malt aromas with a hint of chocolate, generous mouthfeel dominated by roasted malt flavours, sufficient hop bitterness to give balance and a dry finish.)
A 1.7 Kg kit and a kilo of medium or dark spray malt would produce a lovely beer i bet

That's Coopers Dark Ale, of course, Delboy

Milestone IPA is a good one as well. I have one to brew been putting it off as I know what will happen to it and it is as follows... Made, fermented, barreled drunk all in about 2 weeks....... even though I have loads of other stuff to drink.

Re: pls Recomend a kit-Newbie.
I have just bought thisiMilestones IPA brwe. You say you were drinking it within two weeks, is right. Also did you bottle it or keg it?
Did you use any enhancers, and just you a standard syrup for priming. I tried a brew laterly where they used honey and it wasfantastic.
Do I have a chance of this being ready for Christmas?
Cheers
