I Barelled my first brew 10 days ago, left in the warm for 7 days and has been in the cold for 3 days.
Poured a glass tonight to make sure all was ok and it was as flat as a pancake!
Should it have carbonated a little already?
When barreling I forgot to vaseline the seal so gas maybe escaping.
Is it worth repriming and sticking in the warm for another week with a vaselined cap?

Recarbonating Youngs Pressure Barrel
Re: Recarbonating Youngs Pressure Barrel
Think i've found my answer in this thread viewtopic.php?f=4&t=18133
Although it may be pressured will there be any fizz in the brew?

Re: Recarbonating Youngs Pressure Barrel
I've also just read that I shouldn't have barreled my lager as it can't hold the required pressure to carbonate!
Should have done more reading/asked more questions! Not that I haven't asked enough already.
Think i'll just bottle from the keg and reprime.
Have a real ale on the go that can be barreled.
I can hear the cornies calling
