muntons gold ipa - help
i've been brewing a muntons gold ipa kit for 4 days the hydrometer reading is 1010. I normally leave my kits for 10 days shall i leave this for an extra 6 days as its more or less ready to put in the keg
Re: muntons gold ipa - help
4 days seems quick to me (but not unknown), why not take another reading after 24 hours, if it’s the same then your good. I generally leave kits for a week and also look at the top of the beer – if you aren’t getting many bubbles your getting to the end of fermentation.
A general congratulations for getting a Muntons Gold to 1010, they are notorious for sticking at a higher gravity.
