hi all,

any one got any thoughts about using unrefined sugar for secondary ferment?
im wondering if its safe to use it granulated or does it need to be sterilised first?

I have used unrefined sugar in my primary with no issues and also in priming (I'm a simple fella; primary in the fv, prime and let it finish in the keg/bottle).

Of course, when I say no issues, I mean I have an unrefined palate and have tasted nothing strange.

Have noted no taste benefits either though.
