i've filled my FV with this cleaner and am leaving it over night to clean. can i use this solution the next day to clean out my bottles or do i need to make up a new one? thing is that i have just run out of VWP. any thoughts would be great.

just had a thought. i do have some campden tablets. can these be used? if so how?

Campden tablets are used to treat the water prior to brewing, it helps neutralise chlormines in the water to prevent you getting off flavours in your beer. Probably not very good at sanitising.

I just use the powder bleach stuff from my local home brew shop. Its not that expensive either.

thanks for those replys. bottled today and decided to re-use what i had made up last night. gonna get my self some bleach for the next brews.
