Here is a link to my first kit project. It's almost ready but i wanted to leave it till there were plenty of pics
The man in his 50's in the pics isn't me. It's my dad, for the first run i had him help me to make sure i don't mess up and end up with 40 pints of vinegar.

How much sugar did you put into the barrel for secondary and what type? You might be better of getting a s30 gas cylinder as it would save money in the long term having to buy the co2 bulbs every shot.

To be honest i thought the one i got one was a gradual release thing. Well i have a ton of catridges so its ok.
1kg of sugar during and a large tablespoon when it was kegged. There is plenty of pressure in there last time i took a little off. Nice head and tasted ok

Well an engagement party and half a keg later (accompanied by a hangover) I can honestly say even though i left the beer for the "minimum" time. It was fabulous.
This was a fairly cheap youngs kit too! I can't wait to try a more expensive brupack or woodfordes kit.
19 or so pints left

So sad ;_;

You need 3 on the go....one fermenting,one conditioning and one being drunk

I have only the one keg, but I tend to bottle as I prefer the results...
...and I can always manage to find bottles for another batch!

That's what I'm going to do in a month or two or so after I've tried doing my first brew
