A beer I've really loved for ages is Arran Blonde -

I also tried this stuff as well, which seems smashing as well -

Which is also a Blonde style beer. Has anyone tried or seen a kit that would give results close to this style of beer?.
Thanks in advance.
Looking for a 'Blonde' style kit
I have no idea about kits but I could probably help you with an all grain or extract recipe.
As far as I know, the best kits are made by Brupaks, Woodfords and Coopers. I'm sure they do a blonde ale. Hop & Grape (http://www.hopandgrape.co.uk) have a good range, and i'm sure many other homebrew supply shops do, too.
I had an Arran Blonde earlier and i'm puzzling over what hops they use. Their brewery has a good tour if you ever get the chance to visit.

I used to go to the Partick one on Dumbarton road, but I do most of my ordering online now. I didn't realise there was one in Dennistoun.Bowser wrote:I see your from Glasgow, do you go to the brew shop in dumbarton rd, or the one in alexandra parade? I ain't been to any of them, and as I live in Prestwick, I fancy a wee trip up to get some kit in. I usually order online, but I like the idea of supporting a 'local' shop.
Glenbrew (Partick) has a fair range of kits anyway.
Like DaaB says, it's always best to pay an extra pound for a decent yeast.
