Milestone Black Pearl...Any tips?

Post by neilos » Sun Jan 31, 2010 7:44 pm

Just ordered myself the above kit, really excited about my first stout kit. Should I just follow the kit instructions as it's my first stout? Or does anybody have any recommended tweaks to it? I have got some 'creamy top' as well to add before bottling. Is this a good idea? Seems like it to me!

I'm currently drinking this and I made as per instructions and it tastes great! Never tried the 'creamy top' but I do add NO2 to help with the creamy head.

I'm sure you will really enjoy this!

In agreement with the other guys.... Make per instructions, leave 4-6 weeks. Drink. Make notes of likes/dislikes. Change for next time if necessary. :)
