Cider kit issues

I started brewing a cider last Sunday. I used an aquarium heater to keep a steady temp. Unfortunately I got home one evening to find the heater had gone nuts and the thermostat wasnt cutting, so my brew just slowly got hotter & hotter. Since then there has been no more fermentation and the brew stinks.
Should I just chuck this or is there any chance of ressurection?
