Coopers Australian lager - priming

Post by Bodders » Fri Feb 19, 2010 1:19 pm

Hi

My Coopers Australian lager (made with Saflager yeast & Saaz hops) will be ready to bottle this weekend - I've left it in the FV in the cold for 12 days so far & it all looks OK.

My question is how much sugar should I use to prime 25L ? John Palmer's calculator suggests about 115g - does that sound about right to give it a nice head ?

Thanks for your help

I think that should be good. I tend to but between 80 & 100g in 23 litres
