Had some great advice from this site already, but the bloke in the shop, Brewers Droop, Bristol, said that with this beer kit I would not need any brewing sugar, despite what it says on the packet. (i.e. Transfer the beer into bottles or a pressure barrel with a little sugar - half teaspoon per pint - to help condition the beer.)
Has he stiffed me?
Yesterday I transferred from fermenter to pressure barrel, no sugar added. (Committed deadly sin of sucking on siphon tube, though.) It didn't taste bad but it didn't taste great, is everything ok as it stands?
