Hi
I have just had a sneaky preview taste of ny Coopers Mexican Cerveza, bottled on the 31st Jan and following the kit instructions to the letter.
The good news is that the beer is crystal clear and tastes as I would have hoped - the bad news is that it is as flat as a pancake.
The bottles were kept at about 20 degrees for 3 days following bottling and then moved into a garage (obvioulsly pretty cold at the moment) for the remaining period.
Is there any way I can salvage the remaining 39 pints.....????
Cheers
Andy
Flat Beer after Bottling - Suggestions?
Re: Flat Beer after Bottling - Suggestions?
When you say flat do you mean no head or no bubbles?
I normally leave my beer for 5 days in a warm environment before moving to a cold. Perhaps try moving a bottle or two into the warmth for a few days and then try again.

What method did you use, to prime the bottles exactly ?

Racked off the brew into a bottling vessel with a bottling attachment.mickhew wrote:What method did you use, to prime the bottles exactly ?
Dissolved the recommended amount of sugar (about 160g I seem to remember) in a pint or so of the brew, and then added it back in. Stirred gently, then bottled as usual.
