Brewed an edme lager weeks ago and it seemed to be stuck. Brew outside so followed the guidlines of a stuck fermentation e.g rousing the beer, adding new yeast, getting right temp, etc. Actually turns out that the brown wire in the heater plug had come disconnected so now re-connected and fermenting good.
Question is, do you think the beer will be infected or have some off tastes due to my prodding and poking in trying to get to the bottom of the problem?

Re: Tough Love
Nah, I think it'll be fine - beer is a very resilient creature!
It would only add an "off" taste if the temperature had gone too high, as this kills the yeast (whereas a low temp makes it lie dormant).
Should be fine, don't worry about it.
