Hello
I have 2 kegs of 6 week old wherry on the go -- Although it is a nice drink I am having problems with the chill haze -- The beer is clear at room temperature but when I draw a pint from my corny kegs which are in cold outside shed, the beer has cloudy chill haze. I understand that the chill haze doesnt effect the taste but "The first sip is with the eye" and I dont like serving cloudy beer to friends to be honest.
What I would like to know is - are there any kits out there that produce a nice pint that doesnt throw a chill haze??
thanks

Re: chill haze free kits
You may already know this, but chill haze should eventually precipitate out if left long enough.
I am not aware of kits that have had the haze forming proteins removed, but that doesn't mean that they aren't out there.

I'd suggest you're serving your wherry too cold.
English ales only down to cellaring temps of 10c or so right?
Mine are normally room temperature whether from keg or bottle, it just stands in the kitchen whichever it is.
Other than that time will sort it out.
