They also have some incredibly cheap yeasties. Wyeast #1318 - London Ale III. 50p! (previously £4.50) It did go out of date in January though.

Would anyone recommend buying this?

It crossed my mind to add some of that to my order.

I was wondering if it is slightly out of date then I would assume that its still OK but maybe not as effective .

On the other hand at 50p ea then even having to pitch in a second pack to make up for the loss in efficiency it would still be a bargain.

One for the experts I think - Is it ever worth buying out of date yeasts ?

As DaaB said with these yeasts you have to make up a starter any way.
The sealed packages are bacteriologicaly safe so if you get active fermentation you have got yourself a bargain 8)

All orders up to 30kg, which total £50.00 or more prior to any postage charges, and can be packed into one container, there will be no delivery charge.
It would be worth buying 4 Brupaks kits to have the added saving on the postage!

Normall price for 4 kits = £71.96
Dicounted price for 4 kits = £53.96
Saving £18 plus the free postage...bargain!

Now...what one's shall I order? =P~ 8)

I will be putting my order in tomorrow (fixby gold/blackmoor stout/special lager/honley mild).
Has anyone tried the body brew stuff they try to sell you and is it worth the extra four and a half quid per kit? It must be bloody good for that price.

You can get a sample for free if you drop them a line and let them know you are a member of this forum - it gets better and better :D

Found this quote from an old post:

[If you order some, if you drop me an email at annette@easybrew.co.uk we will give you a bag of bodybrew free (for priming) if you let me know that you are a member of this forum.]

Just spent a frustrating hour trying to buy various items from this site, every time I checked the shopping basket I found that one of the items I had selected hadn't been added, when I went back & selected the item again & re-checked my basket I found that everything else had been removed :x

Won't be buying from them - just too annoying

At those prices I didn't plan on trying it unless somebody says it it will greatly improve your beer which I very much doubt. On the other hand if I can get a bag for free then I will certainly do so. :)
Cheers for the tip(s) Griff.
