Leaking barrel from the tap

Hi all, i currently have a catch 8 days into warm conditioning and decided to move into cold today. However when tested the pressure, there was none ! The seal in the lid had got kinked. Ive put a new seal in and screwed back on giving it a little blast of co2. Will i need to drink this beer quicker than normal or can i leave to condition properly, was planning on keeping my hands off it till the start off the world cup. Thanks . . .
