It would depend on what you want from the hops.

I have recently put down a Pilsner style from a Coopers kit but wanted more of everything; bitterness, aroma and hop palate.
I decided after reading a few posts and a semi-answer to my own enquiry to use the 'late hopping method'.
I boiled all my fermentables separate from my kit (so as to not affect the kit hopping). I then added the hops at various stages.ie;
Start of 30min boil 10g hops (bittering) ,
15min in 10g hops (flavour)
then at flame out a further 10g (aroma) leaving this in for 10 min.

When tasting my sample taken for OG, I noticed that bitterness had increased and that the aroma was more pronounced.
This wasn't science, just a bit of guess work. I will know the full effect once the fermentation is complete and it has conditioned.

I hope this gives you an option worth considering.
I buy from The Malt Miller

seeing as the hop tea worked anicely in the youngs....i made up a muntons irish stout with 1kg brew sugar to 15 L . would dry hopping this be a good idea ? i still have some aurora hops and stryan goldings and brambling X hops.....im thining i might just throw the last of the aurora in as its open anyhow.... ?
