PLEASE HELP TECHNOPHOBIC ME!!

Post by timbo41 » Wed Apr 25, 2012 5:16 pm

hi folks can anyone in bog standard layman terms for f###wits like me please explain how to quote someone else on forum without copying the whole text. I have looked at F.A.Qs and the like but realise how sadly lacking in computer knowledge I am. Hey I'm a child of the eighties all i remember are commodore 64 and spectrums with a dodgy ram pack   (bugger didnt mean to start you all reminiscing) :)

Andy,

Having watched your Avatar with some interest for some months, it's time to ask ... what the hell is he supposed to be saying!?

:)

Gary.

PS can't believe it's the first time you've been asked either!

Just a quick thanks to Ditch who has taken considerable time and effort to guide me through the minefield of quoting. And no, I'm not going to quote anything from above !!
