brupaks birkby bitter or colne valley

am looking to brew one of these next its a flip of a coin any help anyone

My Dad brewed the Birkby earlier this year and I obviously had to try some from the keg to help him out

It was a nice smooth malty bitter with minimal hop flavour

I brewed the Colne Valley at a similar time, and have to say that we both preferred the CVB . It just had the perfect balance of malt and hop flavour

The only slight question mark when comparing the two, was that my Dad steeped the supplied hop tea bag for 10mins and I boiled mine for 10mins

hi monkey will go with cvb , just put a linthwaite light in cornie last week , just cornied edme lager , and just shoved a nelsons revenge in fv ,happy days

I don't think that you will be disappointed with the CVB!

I've had my first full pint of my Brupaks IPA tonight after 4 weeks in the keg, it's like a turbocharged Linthwaite Light and still needs a little longer to smooth out a bit.

I've also made up a Coopers Stout tonight, as I've got an empty keg kicking around in the shed

Nice one monkey just finished brupaks ipa myself very nice drink I do fancy a nice stout soon something with a wow factor . Any suggestions

I've brewed a Coopers Irish Stout before, and that was nice and immediately drinklable from the keg.

This will be my second go at a Coopers Original Stout, and I am using extra dark DME as appossed to the medium that I used before, and will be kegging instead of bottling so have higher hopes this time.

I have read good things about Milestone Black Pearl, Muntons Imperial Stout and the guy in my LHBS has recommended the Brupaks Blackmoor Stout.
