It'll be fine. I did this a few weeks back and it's now quite happily sat in a corny :-)

It used to be thought that leaving your beer on the yeast cake that long ran the risk of autolysis in which dead yeast cells start to effect the beer with a rubbery, meaty taint. These days however, at our scale it is thought this is much more unlikely on a time scale like this.

I'm bottling a pale ale today that's been in the FV for three and a half weeks.
I'm just here for the beer.

It turned out pretty good. I was trying out a new hop with this batch. The only complaint I have is it's still not as clear as I'd hoped, I used S-05 which can take a while to drop; I'm sure it will be right a couple of weeks after bottle conditioning.

Can't say I have ever left a beer longer then 3 weeks, mostly because I am super inpatient and want to be drinking the beer in less then a month if possible.
