Maltose and glucose are different sugars.

Maltose is a disaccharide produced from the breakdown of starches found in seeds such as barley.

Glucose is a monosaccharide so it a more simple sugar.

Ok, I understand that, so do they have the same effect when added to the fermentables of a brew. I know that glucose and dextrose are 100% fermentable, but what about this maltose stuff can it be used to better effect than simple brewing sugars?
