Due to a lack of space, I have my kit sitting on top of the clothes dryer in the garage. I will be building a bench soon but this has to do for now.
The problem is that every time we use the dryer, the vibrations shake up the the sediment into my brew making it really cloudy. Now that bottling time draws closer, I obviously don't want this. As much as my wife will hate it, I want to move it inside to the kitchen for a few days where it won't get disturbed, to allow it to settle.
Will moving it now have any adverse affect on the beer? It's done fermenting. I'll try really hard not to slosh it around too much.
Moving kit to another room
Re: Moving kit to another room
It will certainly not do any worse than staying where it is...
Do you have anywhere cool where you could store it for a few days? With the weather as it is, I'd imagine your kitchen is going to get pretty warm, getting it cool will really help if clear beer is important to you.

I'm in New Zealand, it's winter here and bloody cold. No worries about keeping cool. The problem is going to be keeping the bottles warm for the first week or so.masterosouffle wrote:Do you have anywhere cool where you could store it for a few days?
