John Bull.
John Bull.
My local HBS has all John Bull kits going for £11.Never tried these.Im going for the brown ale and the IPA.Any one tried them?
Re: John Bull.
Never tried the brown ale as for the IPA, absolutely nothing wrong with it
maybe not the best kit yeast in the world compared to coopers or so4, but all the same for £11that is okay.
Coopers IPA is around the £11 - £12 mark and i personally prefer the coopers.

Re: John Bull.
John Bull IPA + 1kilo BKE was lovely, bitter and with a nice hoppy flavour.. Just made a Cooper APA with 1 kilo of their own BKE and while its a lovely clear pint, its virtualy tasteless. I found their euro lager to be the same - clear as a bell, nice carbonation and mouthfeel but absolutely tasteless.
