bottled geordie lager

Post by BaKitSpar » Sun Jun 10, 2007 2:09 pm

hi all
I just bottled up a geordie lager yesterday after having it in the primary stage for 13 days. Each bottle I primmed with between 3g and 4g of brewers sugar. have just had a look at the bottles and to me it all looks abit still, no visable signs of co2 as far as i can see. Is this normal or have I messed up? Am new to this home brew thing as this is only my second brew, the first was keged so couldnt see what was happening inside. Thanks for any help yon can give.

Don't worry about your lager not carbing up quickly. My first lager took a month and a half to carb up.

Its worth remembering that it is the conditioning that gives Lager its name (lager means to store) And if at all possible storing at 4degrees C is the way to store, this may not be possible, but is worth the effort.
