Lager yeast recommendations

So what would be best to produce a Stella type flavour if used with my WIlkos Pilsner kit. (Ok no mentions of bleach. hydrochloric acid etc thank you). Or if not Stella then Grolsch et al.

Also are certain yeast really worth £6 a go compared to say Saflager at £3 a go?

Don't know if you'll get it to taste like stella or grolsch without the addition of grains and hops but I have noticed improvement in my lager using wyeast smack packs, still working my way through them but the danish seems best so far.

Will give the Danish a go then. Can't be any worse than the usual guff they supply
